"We hope every park user enjoys this beautifully restored space," says the interim executive director of the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy after the formal entrance to the city's Delaware Park was unveiled Friday.
Known as the "Grand Staircase," it's one of the oldest features in the park dating back to the early 1900s and has been the site of weddings, proms, and life events over the years, reports the Buffalo News.
The restoration project began in 2022 when the Buffalo Olmsted Conservancy rallied together to get the ball rolling on the project.
